My pledges to you:

1. I will clean up Parliament by campaigning for voters rights to sack corrupt MPs and for real powers for backbench MPs.
2. I will continue to fight to stop the closure of Maternity and Children’s Wards at Rochdale Infirmary and the downgrading of our A+E Unit.
3. I will campaign for fairer taxes. No one should be paying tax on the first £10,000 of their earnings.
4. I will bring more police to our streets in the fight against crime.
5. I will provide the children and young people of our town with the best start in life by investing in their future.  I will vote against any rise in University Tuition Fees and will campaign for them to be scrapped.
